Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ Cordless CHV1410L: The Ultimate Black+Decker Dustbuster for Effortless Cleaning by Michael Welborn

Warning. To order the Lithium Ion Battery

Please note the differences between models. The more expensive BDH2010LP comes with a wall mount, but this review is for the CHV1410L, which doesn't come with a wall mount. You can order the clip from B+D. Amazing (thanks for nothing B+D). This clip costs less than $2, but the shipping cost is over $12. You're better off ordering the BDH2010LP and you get a 20 volt battery instead of 16 and a $2 clamp (amazing). But please note that the wall clip DOES NOT CHARGE. This is for wall mounting only. You need to charge with the round bottom plate. Another warning is that it can tip over very easily on the bottom plate. It doesn't snap into the base, it just sits there. Now that I've pointed things out, this is a really good vacuum. Like all powerful handheld vacuums, it's LOUD. So when your kids are desperately trying to clean up a mess without you noticing, you will know. Someone else pointed out that while the battery is easy to get to, it's not easy to replace. This person will show you how to do it yourself, but I haven't really played around with lithium batteries that need soldering. B+D doesn't mean the battery is replaceable (come on B+D, you can do better than filling up my dump with a perfectly working vacuum but a dead battery). Final Note: Buying a basic handheld vacuum shouldn't require rocket science, but there are hundreds of models and many different ones sold by a single company. I really only wanted to buy a lithium battery wall box, but I spent 3 days trying to figure out the real differences between the models. I can only hope that I finally made the right choice. I don't like the ones that sit straight on a stand like this because they take up counter space, but most do it because the companies haven't heard us scream at all. I mount mine on the wall unit and when it's time to charge it I put it on my counter which honestly is safer when it comes to charging lithium batteries because I can keep an eye on it. Since I use a vacuum cleaner, I will report any problems here.
