Review on 4.5 inch MOVA Globe - Earth Clouds by Demetrius Holt

I gave 5 stars because it's a great idea, sophisticated technology and beautiful execution. I read on the company's website that this might not work in a multi-story building, but that wasn't true for me. I keep it near a window so there is plenty of light and clearance for the inner magnet to align with the earth's magnetic pole. If I had to be really picky, this particular globe could have slightly better color control. Most won't notice, but the print has too much green and not enough wind or warm earth tones. For the stand I suggest you choose something that will put it on stilts like the one that comes with the kit or something similar. . Flat wooden coasters just don't have the floating effect that seems enticing at first glance. It's a visual thing, but when it's on a solid base it looks like it's being powered by a cheap motor at the base and doesn't have the magic or allure you get when it's high off the ground .
