Considering this is a very cheap product I found it actually worked very well with excellent picture clarity. NON REGIONAL PLAY: One of the reasons for purchasing this product is the fact that it claims to be able to play non-regional DVDs. However, the manufacturer's instructions for creating a national player yielded nothing but an error message. I emailed the manufacturer and received an email requesting an error message that I received when trying to program it for a non-regional game. I emailed them the information they requested but never received a response from them. I didn't reply because I went back to Revain's website and looked for reviews and hopefully found some feedback on the non-regional aspect of this DVD player. Several reviewers have provided programming instructions for the DVD to be non-regional; some worked for some people but not for others; However, one of the reviewers instructions worked for my DVD player and now I can play any DVD without having to reprogram it at all. I am very grateful to the reviewers who took the time to share their experiences and shared them for the benefit of all. from us. So I am very happy with my purchase - Even if the DVD only lasts a year and then breaks, it would certainly be a worthwhile purchase for the price paid - But who knows, maybe it will play for a long, long time.
