A beautiful bell. for boating and sailing

I have ordered the 2nd size, 6 inches. It's bigger than expected but very beautiful. i love the tone I'll use it as a doorbell. My friend is a US Navy Vietnam veteran. He served on two aircraft carriers. I want to honor him with this bell. He also loves sailing and as a child his mother had the same bell on the porch to call the family to dinner. I haven't decided where to put them yet. I am very happy with my purchase.

Pros

Sounds loud and clear when rang, similar to a classic ship's bell - this bell can be heard well both indoors and outdoors
