Original lamp received and sent quickly - successfully used as a replacement for Viewsonic 7820. You need a tiny screwdriver to change the lamp - takes about 10 minutes. 20 minutes (closer to 20 if your original lightbulb blew up and you need to clean the broken glass). 5000 hours preserved from the original; about a month of daily use of this replacement bulb, fortunately no problem. If this is your first time trying to change a lightbulb, do yourself two favors: (1) Google and watch a short YouTube video before you begin removing screws that don't need to be removed (on at first glance it wasn't clear to me how the thing was connected); and (2) use thin gloves when working to keep hand oil off the painting (pun intended) and to prolong lamp life.
