Almost 2 years and over 5000 hours and still working. It has similar markings/branding to the original lamp which set it apart from the competition which was only a few months old and didn't look like the original lamp. Buy a different one every time this current one dies.

Exactly what is advertised. The brand doesn't match the bulb that came with my projector, but it should be easy enough for almost anyone to install, just don't touch it with your bare hands. Very simple and easy for those who know how to do it themselves. I've been using this lamp for 2 months now, no problems so far. The first one took up to 5500 hours so I'm hoping to do it again.

Update 12/22/2017: The lamp has been used 3995 "equivalent hours" as listed in the information menu of my ViewSonic projector. I noticed that the screen is a little dark so I'm going to replace it. currently. I bought my lightbulb from ePharos which was delivered by Amazon. Bought in July 2016, in February 2018 after 6,000 hours my projector finally started complaining about the lamp life so I replaced it with this one. Installation was a bit tricky - you shouldn't touch any part of the lamp (not even the base or the contacts!) with your fingers to avoid oil contamination which would cause the lamp to fail prematurely.
