Grandchildren's box
I wrote our grandchildren's names and dates of birth on each box using a wood burning set for their Christmas gifts. I also attached a small music box in each. 4 boxes arrived quickly and safely and were the perfect size and shape for this project. The wood is soft (good for carving and firing) but has a pleasing texture and variety of colors. I applied a layer of natural varnish to bring out the color of the wood and protect the finish. Compared to the wooden boxes you can buy from Michael, these are much nicer.
