My Ring Video Doorbell Pro had a 16V-12V AC transformer installed and I was having endless power issues. The doorbell kept losing power and eventually just wouldn't turn on. After calling ring support they said it could be the transformer. After some digging I can find this article. I looked for 24V but saw that it helps most people. Decided to give it a try and now I have a nice, sturdy ring doorbell with no problems. One note I wasn't expecting, it's physically larger than my old transformer so I had to improvise to fit it into the switch box my old one sat in. Very easy to install and solved all my power problems. highlighted.
