Ultra-light replacement binoculars

It's so light it almost slips on your belt. I can hardly feel it, of course it doesn't compete with my Orion 20x80, but it's definitely a good pair of binoculars to take on an ultra-light hike where you didn't think binoculars would be needed. Its size also made it an interesting topic of conversation. People often ask about it and they are amazed to see it and realize that it's not just a toy. This is particularly good for children. It looks cheap but has been pretty solid so far. It rained on him. and survived. Mostly I wear it in orchestras or choral concerts. It was a hit with other viewers. Cons: mostly a pocket. The velcro on the flap is a tiny square and pretty much useless after opening it a few times. I sewed a wider strip and that held it in place.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Seniors
