Review on 🍽️ DII French Stripe Tabletop Collection, 14x108, 100% Cotton, Taupe/Black - Ideal for Everyday Use by Louis Mechtak

The neutral colors of these off-white, beige and brown striped placemats pair well with almost anything. The all-cotton fabric is medium weight and large in size at 20" x 20". The construction is well-made with careful stitching, an inch-wide hem on the outside edge, and beveled corners. Outside of the packaging, they are slightly wrinkled, which is not surprising, especially after washing. After switching to cloth napkins for most meals, I've found that I prefer cotton for its softness and absorbency, so they work well for my needs. The downside is that cotton can wrinkle and shrink after washing. Fabric care instructions have been followed and machine washed in cold water with the same colors and tumble dried on a low setting. I know I need to get them out of the dryer quickly and that avoided major wrinkles, but they still had some wrinkles. The fabric is noticeably softer after washing and can be ironed on a low heat if desired. I measured before washing and they were as above and checked again for shrinkage and they were 18 1/2 x 18 1/2 inches, still a fairly large size. Beautiful napkins. I also have two sets of tissues and although they are machine washable I prefer to hand wash them in cold water and lay them flat to dry.
