Review on 🔒 Dorman Liftgate Lock Actuator 746-015 for Compatible Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC Models by Jonathan Reddick

Product was a direct replacement for a factory part. The instructions on Dorman's website were pretty straightforward - when it came time to remove the part, the instructions weren't detailed enough when it came to removing the tailgate arm (Step 6 of Dorman's instructions). I had to remove three cables from the drive unit to allow the unit to rotate as described. Also, when installing the new part (step 7) it should indicate that you need to attach the tailgate arm, then slide the block into place (step 8) and then reattach the 3 wires. Except for this missing element, everything else went smoothly. The device has been working properly since installation (March 29). I'll let you know if I run into any problems.
