Well it's tight but I don't think the rubber band broke. I left the phone in the holder for an hour and it got a lot better. I took the bike for a 'green road ride' today and the keeper did a great job. The nut on the back of the holder that fixes the ball and holds the phone in place is quite difficult to attach the phone. I'll play with it later, I'm hesitant to use pliers. My point is that the nut is awkward to reach and use with good leverage. Instead of a hex shape I would have thought a nut with protruding wings would be better. But with all that being said, it works fine. If the bike fell I don't think the phone would come out as long as the strip is on 4 corners.
