Review on Powerful and Reliable: WARN 92090 Epic 3/8" Steel Winch Hook, 6 Ton (12,000 lb) Capacity in Black by Cashout Harden

This is a very good hook. Unfortunately it is much larger than most hooks I have seen and too big for my Warn winch. Bumper.When I fitted the fairlead cap that came with my bumper it could not be used as the hook is too big for the cap to fit the fairlead.I ended up returning it for a smaller hook.The only one Another comment I have is Yes, I wish more hook manufacturers would use threaded locking pins to attach the hook to the chain or cable rather than non-threaded pins which require a cotter pin to secure the hook. I have others that use a grub screw that can be easily removed if needed which is very handy Conclusion: Great hook but too big for me to use in my application.
