Yes it is quite expensive but you get what you pay for. These things are great! You look great, I don't know what all the other complaints are about. They have excellent coverage, huge and heavy. I have no doubt when used!

Look at my picture to see the size difference between 18T and 12T blocks. Feel free to opt for the much lighter and handier 12T if that's all you need. I originally chose 18T for safety reasons, but it's too big for my setup.

These Warn "premium" products look really good in the picture, but the ones that arrived are made in China and look like discarded POS units made from drug mold late Friday afternoon. The first time I used the hook was towing my Can-Am back to storage after a simple fuse blew and I lost fuel pressure. I connected it properly to my RZR and started sagging on a flat surface in the sand. I had to stretch a bit to get it moving because you know what it takes if you've played sand before. This is a very good hook. Unfortunately it is much larger than most hooks I have seen and too big for my Warn winch.
