Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Apevia ATX-SN1050W Signature 1050W 80+ Bronze Certified Active PFC ATX Modular Gaming Power Supply: Unleash Optimal Performance for Gamers by David Crowder

Low quality. Not exactly 1050 watts.

My Rosewill 1000 watt power adapter finally died after years of flawless service. Since I'm on a tight budget at the moment because I'm building a house, I decided to replace Rosewill with this very inexpensive Apevia. Huge mistake. The first thing that struck me is how light this Apevia power supply is compared to Rosewill. The difference is extreme. Also, this Apevia is smaller. After all, this Apevia, said to be 50 watts higher than my old Rosewill, can't power the same components as the Rosewill for years. The specs listed on the case of this Apevia PSU aren't even as good as Rosewill's. How can this Apevia PSU deliver 1050W when the electrical specs literally printed on its case are lower than the electrical specs of a 1000W Rosewill PSU? Check out the photo I posted alongside the two power supplies which shows the specs listed on their cases. Do yourself a favor and spend a few bucks more for a power supply from a reputable manufacturer. You might buy this power supply if you're running something fairly simple I think. On the other hand, I would be concerned about how long it will last given how light and fragile it seems.
