Kurt Schrotenburg buys ATX

I'm Kurt Schrotenburg. I've been using computers since the early 1080's. This ATX computer power supply is the best I have ever bought. Calm. This is done in such a way that the wiring is not messed up. Ease of installation.

  • Cool

I can't figure out who this is for.

This PSU powers the MB and 2 GPUs on a small mining rig I built. The manufacturer makes it clear that they don't want you digging with this power supply. Only 2 PCI-e cables are available, total 4 8pin connectors. As other reviewers have pointed out, there are multiple SATA ports and a TON of Molex ports. This is above average for a watt power supply. Most of them are around 750 watts. So my question is, who did you make this power supply for? It's clear that we're directing our extra wattsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not bad

Worked for several days and drew about 600 watts, fan stopped working, switch broke when I turned on the self tester, on the nothing was connected. Newer house at 15 amps. The power supply is really not high quality, but it looks nice with blue light. Not sure how it will push something rated at 1600 watts, it took me multiple times to figure it out.

Pros
  • glitters
Cons
  • quality

I've been using this power supply for about 4 days now, working under medium to high most of the time Burden. No problems so far PROS: -It's a great value. You will hardly find anything over 700W that is also modular and 80+ certified. It works as intended. It works for me on my AMD Ryzen 5 3200G, MSI X570-A PRO, XFX Radeon RX 570 RS XXX, 5 case fans and 1 SSD + 1 HDD. The blue backlight is quite subtle and not obtrusive, which I find quite pleasing. The standard cable lengths were exactly theโ€ฆ

So far so good for the price

It was a bit smaller than an ATX power supply. Also, it's only semi-modular, not fully modular. It had very few slots for a PCIe cable (only 3) but still had everything I needed for my computer. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now with no problems. However, I'm worried that my computer won't be able to keep up with what I originally planned, so this power supply is very underdeveloped. I removed 1 star because they claimed it was fully modular when it wasn't. I can't comment on the noiseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Robust construction

  • So far so good

The 1050W PSU works great!

This PSU is the cheapest 1050W ATX semi-modular PSU on the market. That works fine. There is no point in buying twice the price from another manufacturer unless you have a financially or health-critical computer. This power supply has not let me down in the year since I bought it. I bought two of these devices for my two setups. 1050W is more than enough power to power any GPU, any desktop CPU, high performance water pump, 17 addressable 120mm 5V RGB fans at maximum speed (push/pullโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Low quality. Not exactly 1050 watts.

My Rosewill 1000 watt power adapter finally died after years of flawless service. Since I'm on a tight budget at the moment because I'm building a house, I decided to replace Rosewill with this very inexpensive Apevia. Huge mistake. The first thing that struck me is how light this Apevia power supply is compared to Rosewill. The difference is extreme. Also, this Apevia is smaller. After all, this Apevia, said to be 50 watts higher than my old Rosewill, can't power the same components as theโ€ฆ
