All the other reviews sum it up well, I would add that I have a 2005 f250 4 door regular bed, this socket goes in the rear glass on the driver's side, take the screw if it is removed Pull it out and unscrew it about an inch and hit it with a hammer. You may also have to hit the bottom to loosen it. You don't have to remove the back seat to do this, I had to loosen the grommet behind the driver's seat under the carpet about an inch to allow enough clearance to raise the cab far enough to remove the old one and install the new one. I used a regular jack and a block of wood, I put four stars because you have to reuse the old screw
