I use this product in all my engines and Atkinson cycle engines are the only one I've found to be sensitive to how much additive you need. I have a 2019 Camry Hybrid that is sensitive to how much additive you put into the tank. With all my other vehicles I was never careful to measure how much of the product that I use but the Camry hybrids engine is sensitive to overtreatment. You will loose power if you use a bit too much. If you dial in the correct mixture it's excellent however. The engine feels stronger than when only gasoline is used, more low end power and I can hear the difference. I don't understand why its doing this but I can only tell you what I've experienced. Also the fuel system is complex in these cars using port and direct injection. I want to protect it for the life of the vehicle and I believe that Lucas will take good care of it. I drive for a living usually driving 1,200 miles per week so I have a fair amount of seat time in the vehicle to test the different mixtures. The engine does notice the different mixtures per fill up and it will take a few engine on miles and a full throttle pull for it to learn its optimal mixture.
