I have to feed my dog a wet food to supplement his dry food because he is very old and has some dental issues and wont eat enough dry food to maintain proper caloric intake. That said, he has kidney disease and needs a lower protein food, which is totally off trend right now, and I can't afford to feed him one of the vet brands. This food has most of its calories in fat, which is okay for my dog's nutritional needs but might not be right for all dogs. The food must taste very good because my dog eats it almost too fast to see and he's always excited for it. I mix my doggie's liquid pain medication into the food and he doesn't seem to notice, so that's a bonus.TL;DR:Your dog will almost certainly love the taste, but this is not the best choice nutritionally for most dogs. Price is pretty reasonable and the can size is perfect for smaller dogs.
