No reason not to buy it.
Well first of all. Don't put the magnets together. That was a fun 2 hours. It's a good beginner kit, I believe it will serve its purpose well. The rope is a little on the cheap side I think, but still very sturdy, I don't think it's weak at all. The outter layer is just a little loose is all.
