I've mostly used phone holders that attach to my car's air vents, but my 2020 Toyota Corolla has tiny air vents in odd places that don't fit in the holder. In addition to this bug, there was an issue with the screen and finding a mount that would work with it. I was able to attach the phone holder to the dash and it was fairly easy using the tools provided and the phone sits securely in the holder. What you don't see in the attached photo is that there is a second clip near the edge of the dash that secures the phone to prevent the holder from rocking or bouncing. I have a Samsung Galaxy 9, but my daughter's iPhone 11 works with it too. The only thing I would change if I could choose the design is a lower or open back which would allow me to use my fingerprint to unlock the phone. Unfortunately, the holder covers the fingerprint sensor, so I have to enter the unlock code while driving, which is dangerous. Overall, however, I am very satisfied with the purchase.
