Review on MTD 954-04060C Replacement Belt OEM Stens by Allen Hart

This belt is trash! Snapped after 2 months of use. As some of the other reviewers mentioned it does not come packaged as pictured. It comes in a plastic bag with a part number on it, no manufaturer name and the only markings on the belt itself are the part number and made in India. I have no Idea if it is even made by Stens as they claim. Revain should stop selling this trash prduct! I put on this belt with 2 new spindles and blades while doing a complete tune up and overhaul of my mower, now I need to get another (OEM this time) belt and take it apart again. The belt didn't even look worn just snapped. Don't waste you're money and time!To update my review, the belt I recived was not up to the OEM spec length, it was slightly too short. The difference was not noticable when comparing it to the OEM belt before putting it on. After I installed an OEM belt there was a drramatic difference in the amount of force it took to engange the PTO (blades). When I first installened the aftermarket belt sold here and noticed the extra effort it took to engage the blades I thought it was due to the old belt having stretched over time, not so the belt was slightly too tight. After installing an OEM belt the difference was noticable. Again, buyer beware, you might get a good one but for me it's not worth the time and effort it takes to change the belt just to save a few bucks.
