Perfect replacement part
On the 2016 W205 C300 I also got that dreaded auxiliary battery failure message on the dash. This part fixed it. Installation was easy - lots of YouTube videos showing you how to do it. So far everything works fine and the error message disappeared immediately. The start-stop system also works perfectly. No codes to clear... and no message returned. Part of the price of OEM parts too. You will not be disappointed.
