Review on iRobot Roomba s9+ (s955020) Robot Vacuum Bundle: Wi-Fi Connected, Smart Mapping, Ideal for Pet Hair, with Automatic Dirt Disposal, Bonus Accessories by Debra Riley

I bought this one because it had additional spare parts. The first rumba didn't work, kept stopping and asking me to "knock on the bumper". Support sent me another Roomba. Roomba #2 worked, however some of my thresholds between rooms were too high (it's a very old house) and it couldn't move from room to room, after which it went into lobotomy mode. I built small slopes and/or installed new rapids. It worked great! The mapping took all 5 times before I was allowed to correct and tweak the final map. While mapping, Rumba broke one of the roller brushes on a protruding nail (did I mention this is a very old house?). I'm very glad I had a spare on hand. This Roomba navigates hard/softwood floors, plush rugs, oriental rugs (with underlay), and decorative cast-iron HVAC vents. We are currently working on room boundaries, room labels and restricted zones. I also play with adjustable vacuum power and multiple vacuum passes. So far everything works great. I am very happy.
