We added a full bathroom to our basement because our kids play sports and sleep in almost every weekend. We wanted everything downstairs to be comfortable, including dirty jocks going down to the basement and showering before entering the main part of the house. While we may have had shower and sink lines going to the Saniflo macerator we use for the toilet, we decided to buy a gray shower and sink water pump for two reasons: 1) It would be easier to route the lines to a different pump to join in our configuration. 2) The gray water pump is very quiet and we wouldn't need to hear a larger pump running. more often. It's been over 2 years and both Saniflo pumps are running great with no issues. Very happy with the added convenience of a full bath in the basement and the Saniflo line of products. This is a very simple process that takes little time.
