Nothing to say about the grain. This is a center punch and makes really good indentations to start drilling the hole in the right place. The special thing about this grain is that I could buy it. Before looking at Revain, I visited three hardware stores, none of which had a grain. Two stores had so-called automatic punches, which have two obvious disadvantages: they're more expensive, and it's impossible to pinpoint exactly where the punch will make an impression. The image on Revain is deceptive: you get a hit, not installed. While I wasn't fooled, I took a star off my rating to draw everyone's attention to this less-than-ideal situation.
