Seat tube lower bottle cage flexes allowing a full 24 oz bottle to slide off. I would have to bend the bottom tab a bit to hold the bottle. The tab can stay in place up to 12 ounces. The tongue is now cracked/broken and the bottle cage needs to be replaced. Not happy about that. The bottle cage's "down tube" (the angled tube from the handlebars to the grips) remains solid for my full 24-ounce bottles. This cage does not need to be adjusted. I bought and installed this product on my road bike back in April 2021. I drove 2800 miles from May 1st to October 23rd 2021 (6 months). My rides are over train tracks and other unplanned road bumps/potholes that cause bottles to bounce up and down on the bottom tab of the cage.
