I bought this as I didn't want to spend money on an expensive or a cheap carbon bottle cage and needed something lighter as I got a thicker one already for my ice maker cup so no extra weight. In any case, the thing is very durable and does not look cheap at all. I'll eventually buy another one to match, but so far so good. In addition, I can easily put a mini pump behind it and the bottle doesn't bother me.

This is exactly the same 18g cage as the Supacaz but much cheaper. I have both Supacaz cages and Marque cages. They are identical and the only reason to pay more for Supacaz cages is to get a different color. Separators without bolts weigh just under 18 grams. Seat tube lower bottle cage flexes allowing a full 24 oz bottle to slide off. I would have to bend the bottom tab a bit to hold the bottle. The tab can stay in place up to 12 ounces. I have actually used these bottle cages to replace my Specialized which looked great but were difficult to use. They work like magic. I can't say how long they last, but in terms of functionality, they're just superb. They hold the bottle in place and are easy to remove and replace without even looking. Well I've had them for a while now and overall they're good for their weight. for road bike. I think I've used them for gravel and unfortunately the tab at the bottom of the cage keeps flexing, to be honest I ride the bike on some pretty rough trails and it probably isn't suited to a lightweight/lightweight cage.
