Waste Filament: 3D Printing Filament

Wow. I should have listened better to other reviews and now I have two rolls of dental floss because I've waited almost a year to use them. I wouldn't even give this to a friend. Firstly I'm not just a bully to swear at, I almost never write a negative review, this could be the first. Before this turn I liked the Gizmodorks thread, I literally ran miles of their stuff through a number of different printer models/manufacturers. First of all I'm not new to 3D printing, my first 3D printer was a Solidoodle which was amazing as an entry level printer, lots of work and setup and it worked like a champ! I liked this car but I outgrew it and went through a few Lulzbot cars (Mini and TAZ). Now, after almost a decade of almost daily printing, I've probably settled in and worked with a lot of filament, but it wasn't a setup. I even went so far as to unwind the filament from a smaller spool and put it on a larger bore spool in the hope that this would help the filament to "relax". It's not like this. I even 3D printed a spool holder that sat on top of the printer and literally dropped the filament onto the carriage/extruder and even that failed. This thread breaks like spaghetti, seriously, take a spaghetti thread and it always breaks in three or four pieces, this thread has done the same thing to me every time I've tried to print it. I understand that metal/PLA filaments are prone to breakage, metal powder makes them more brittle and more prone to breakage, but I've used other metal filaments and was able to get at least one print out of it, I haven't even been able to start typing with it because it breaks so badly. Save your money, buy better thread than this.
