I tried different mounts for the Home Mini. I chose it because it's the best compromise for our bathroom. It's compact and discreet, conceals the power plug and aux cable, securely holds your existing power plug and mini, and won't block any other outlet. Also retains access to the mute switch. I ended up using it in the "hanging" orientation under the outlet rather than over the outlet because the two prongs of the non-polarized Google plug don't seem to grip the outlet well enough to have it over it. Not to mention that I like the Mini oriented so that the volume tap function stays on the left for volume down, on the right for volume up. The good thing is that the connector fits in any orientation. For reference I have Decora style outlets; You have a lot of space between the vessels.
