So far, so good. It has the same rough shape as my 10 year old road helmet, but instead of the traditional "ribs" on the crown it is more closed, but still has an air intake in the front and large ventilation openings in the head area. return. I mainly use this on my recumbent bike and have done 3 rides so far. The vane design causes air to flow "around" your skull, resulting in a cooler, less sweaty head as well as fewer airflow disruptions. The shape is nice as I can pull it across my forehead and the lack of "edges" means it won't fly backwards when I'm going down a hill at 46mph. I also like the magnetic locking mechanism and the smaller adjustment knob on the back. My only complaint was the limited color choices. While the black and white looks pretty stormy or storming, I'll update the review if there are any negatives. So far very happy with the product and the price.
