I installed this on a custom radio rig on my Saturn SW2, with an extra 3ft extension I was able to run the cable to the tailgate window. Radio reception is fine, I live in a big city. that I get 50% of the radio stations in my area in stereo. I wanted something more modern with no antenna and since my old antenna broke this was a great option. I don't use the radio often, but I don't want to hear static when I connect to Android Auto. The tape is very good so make sure you know exactly where to go! In general it's fine if you need a signal for base stations but intend to use Bluetooth for music.
