As it is advertised as an addition to a hot water circulating pump I expected its control temperature to be almost universal. NOT SO. The pump was more than 20 times longer than needed to supply hot water to the faucet. My choice in system administration is a user-initiated button. Aquastat should limit the operation of the pump when the pipes were already hot and turn off the pump when it was hot enough. The time required for my pump was only 10 seconds. Keep the tap water hot. At normal flow, it takes 60 seconds + 1/2 gallon of water wasted before it gets hot. Aquastat will enable within 4 minutes. Working hours. The countdown timer relay is the solution for my system. (Probably your system too) HTH! :)
