Update 7/17/2021: 50:50am on whether the cartridge is properly seated on the valve stem. Works great on some machines, won't sit on others. ------ Love the design and concept, but even installing takes a long time with a few extra pounds of pressure. I have another tire pump that I hook up to the same compressor and it inflates the tire 1/5 times faster (in just a few seconds). I'm not sure what's up with that inflation that takes so long to inflate the tire. I originally rated it 3 stars. Updated: 07/16/19. Astro AI's customer service has been outstanding. They voluntarily sent me a replacement. The replacement gas generator is much better than the first gas generator. I did a little test with the three inflators I had (a basic inflator and then two AstroAI inflators). I deflated a car tire to 20psi and then applied a pump to each tire for 35 seconds to see how much the pressure increased. I repeated each test multiple times to ensure the results were reproducible. Simple Inflator: Increase 25 psi inches in 35 seconds. AstroAI Inflation #1: 8.5 psi increase The AstroAI #2 inflator wasn't as fast as my basic inflator, now it's fast enough not to bother me. I have changed my rating to 5 stars as inflation times are now acceptable.
