Review on 🌬️ Aerostar Pleated MERV 11 20X20X1: Optimal Air Filtration for Cleaner Indoor Spaces by Rob Dixon

I bought these filters in place of the Filtrete Micro Allergen Defense filters I used to buy as 3M filters were becoming too expensive. Overall, these filters are better than 3M filters in many respects, but inferior in one respect. Pros: Aerostar filters hold up better than 3M filters (see photo), are heavier (8 ounces vs. 3M's 7 ounces), and have more wrinkles. In general, they seem to be more durable and robust than 3M filters. Cons: They are smaller than 3M filters and can be a looser fit depending on the duct system. These filters are 19.5 x 19.5 x 0.75 inches, while the 3M filters are 19.7 x 19.7 x 0.75 inches. I taped foam tape to the edges of the return line for a tight fit. Considering the difference in price and the overall better quality of the Aerostar filters, I will definitely be buying more.
