Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Clauss Bent Snips with Titanium Bonding by Jeremy Carpenter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent scissors, excellent price

I work for a private ambulance company making 1 to 12 calls per 12 hour shift. I bought them after two calls in a row when I needed my scissors to work and the finished product was not shiny at best. They had black handles so they were very easy to lose at night and the metal was cheap. The first call left them behind, but the police officer was able to take them to the hospital. On the second call, when they tried to cut through a sweatshirt and t-shirt at the same time, they just stopped working. While waiting in the ER for my partner to finish the report, I found them online and bought them. They came in plain packaging but felt great from the moment I held them in my hands. Cheaper scissors have play and the two blades are not strong. It's quite the opposite, they have NO play in the blades and the non-serrated side is VERY sharp. The handles are made of thick plastic/rubber with softer rubber inside to keep your hands from banging when you're cutting with them. They're also smaller, which is nice because they don't take up much space wherever you choose to store them (thigh pocket, side pocket, pocket, etc.). Finally, they are covered with a special coating that is smooth and easy to clean, making the scissors last longer. "Extra Features" - There are two small notches between the buttons and the "loop" that I'm 99% sure are used. for opening and closing oxygen cylinders. They work in a pinch, but they may not work on bottles that have been repeatedly opened and closed because the sides of the bottle will round off and make it difficult to grip. The red color is very pretty and makes them more visible at night or if they fall somewhere. If you don't like gray, buy a cheap nail polish in your chosen color and paint over it. They cost $10 and last quite a while and the quality is great for the price. If you're buying them for a first aid kit, for example, they're great too; Don't buy the cheap ones, spend the extra $5 and buy the ones that will cost you a pretty penny if needed. (Hint: yes they will, just know it will break the scissors)

  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
