Works great so far! in Power & Hand Tools

Works Great! They are well made and strong yet lightweight. I'm an ER nurse and used it to cut through an underwired bra, leather belt and pair of jeans. I also had to use them on an MRI during Code Blue and was told they are non-magnetic which is a HUGE plus for those who need them for hospital use. I've only had them for 2 weeks but I hope they last a long time.

Quality product at a great price

I bought (2) of these to replace some of the poor quality ones that came with a couple of first aid kits I bought. I was concerned that the ones that came with the kits would not work properly when used on heavy clothing and the finger holes in the kits were not made for large/gloved hands. These titanium bonded scissors are very well made and oversized for better leverage. I would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • No performance

Great tool. Great price

Great tool. Very important. As a first responder I have used these scissors numerous times and they are still as sharp as the day I took them out of the box. The grips are soft and fit my medium to large hands very well. They are convenient and easy to use. So far I've cut out several blue jeans, a work boot, and a braided paracord bracelet. Trimmed a SAMS tire for a small child. I'm about to order two more sets.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Not for heavy work - great for EMT cuts

Good comfortable scissors but not for cutting too thick material. Tried to use them like secateurs to cut off a palm branch and they broke. Had a pair for years and they were great. Considered 35 X Scissors and Leatherman for $65 but eventually bought back. I've cut rubber, cork, teflon, thin sewing thread, etc. I've also used them to cut bandages. They're pretty good at wiring, and I can tell you they don't carry electricity, otherwise I wouldn't be here now.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

MUCH better than "average " scissors.

I wanted a "better" trauma shears than some others I've had over the years. and that's for sure! Not that the scissors are "heavy," but the Titan's lighter weight is noticeable. Nothing fancy but they fit my (big) hands well, cut well and have a nice tight barrel, and the red piping makes them look pretty stylish! Again, these are scissors. I've had scissors for $2 to $20 and with a few exceptions there isn't much difference. But they are better than regular scissors and I am sure they are much

Not as good as before.

These used to be my favorite pair of scissors. I work in a Level 1 trauma center so quality scissors are a must. The first couples I bought were excellent. The blade was sharp, the handles were VERY comfortable, and they cut everything I could ask for (and more!). However, the last few pairs I've bought have let me down. From the factory, the rivet is no longer strong enough to ensure high cutting speeds. When I opened the box on the last pair I bought I knew there was going to be trouble. They

Excellent scissors, excellent price

I work for a private ambulance company making 1 to 12 calls per 12 hour shift. I bought them after two calls in a row when I needed my scissors to work and the finished product was not shiny at best. They had black handles so they were very easy to lose at night and the metal was cheap. The first call left them behind, but the police officer was able to take them to the hospital. On the second call, when they tried to cut through a sweatshirt and t-shirt at the same time, they just stoppedโ€ฆ
