I bought this for my NV752 to fit the vacuum hose pins and it started working as soon as I attached it. "Unfortunately it was only running for about a minute when the engine suddenly cut out!" I unplugged it and plugged the tool back in, thinking it was a weak connection, but no; The motor did not turn the brushroll. I put the nozzle away and continued using the NV752 on carpets, then tried the motorized brush again on our couch. As before, it immediately started buzzing and whizzing, but stopped after about a minute of brief use. I believe the small motor is overloaded and shut down for safety reasons. The plastic case didn't feel hot and didn't smell burned, but it certainly didn't last more than a minute after the first run. Also, there was nothing caught or bound in the brushroll that would cause it to stop. I had high hopes for this little tool so I'm very disappointed and sorry to return it. Luckily Revain has a great returns policy and at least the NV752 still works great!
