Review on πŸ”ͺ KONOLL 7-inch Santoku Thunder-K Series: Handmade Professional Chef's Knife, German High Carbon Steel by Steven Dahl

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like it. Best Cutlery & Knife Accessories

Considering the price, this Konoll 7 inch Santoku Knife is a pretty good tool. Noticeable weight in the hand. The Paccawood handle is comfortable, although I doubt how long it will look like a battered heirloom, even if washed and dried immediately after use. Sealing I'm not overly optimistic, it prevents liquids from being absorbed by products that inevitably come into contact with it. The blade is made of carbon steel alloy, which mimics the performance and properties of the relatively common German X50CrMoV15 steel alloy, which also means that this knife is prone to rust if not cared for properly. , With an HRC rating of 56+, this knife's blade should be easy to sharpen, but in general the hardness of this type of steel can cause it to dull fairly quickly. I personally like the hammered look of the blade, even though I'm not sure if it's handmade.
