Review on DALSTRONG Slicing Carving Knife AUS 10V by Debbie Webster

A few weeks ago I ordered a Dalstrong Shogun 12 inch slicer for my son for his birthday. The knife is a very nice, serious slicer, but unfortunately it has a very slight curvature. in the blade. Possibly 1/8". I wasn't sure if this would fit a 12" blade (seen too much Forged in Fire) so I decided to contact Dalstrong customer service. A customer service representative responded to my email within hours and I sent a photo of the knife. The next day I was contacted to send a replacement knife and that I could keep the original. The knife arrived within two days. Great experience. My son now has a perfect carving knife and I have a very slightly curved slicer. As for the knife, the fit and finish is top notch, it's beautiful and the blade makes the chest easy to work with. If you want a planer that performs as well as Shun does for less money, Dalstrong is the way to go.
