Smart lightbulbs have always been something I've always wanted to invest in, so I figured when I got Alexa for Christmas it was the perfect time to pursue that dream. I searched the internet for cheap smart candelabra bulbs and didn't want to pay $40 for a single Hue bulb TOGETHER with a Hue bridge for an additional $30-40. Finding a set of three smart bulbs for $10 off was like a dream come true, especially since there are 3 bulbs in my bedroom. Why pay more than $40 for 1 Hue bulb when I can pay $30 for 3? When I first received them in the mail I was really surprised at how small they are. That's not a problem as I have small lights and they don't stick out uncomfortably! I followed the instructions that came with my bulbs and installed the app on my phone. (Someone posted in a review that they didn't receive instructions, so maybe they'll fall out of the boxes?) What's really nice is that they don't require Alexa or Google Home to work, and you can just pop them over control the app. , which is updated regularly so that your lamps are always up to date! My only suggestion for the app is to add a grouping feature so I can group my three bedroom lights and turn on all three at the same time or set them to the same color without having to ask Alexa to change them to primary colors it can recognize. I plan on adding at least one more bulb to my collection in another room, so having a feature that would let me control two separate rooms with multiple bulbs would be great! The yellow and white light is beautiful to look at and the RGB colors are very crisp! The three bulbs together are very bright, but my only complaint is that these bulbs don't dim as much as I would like. I can tell Alexa to dim them down to 1% and they still seem oddly bright. It's not too much of a problem because if I want them to be very dim I just tell Alexa to turn on the blue or red light, but if you're looking for very dim bulbs these might be the bulbs for you What I noticed is that both blue and purple work as a fluorescent black light! I've been working on an artistic concentration made up of neon colors so having a lightbulb that I can adjust to be the perfect fluorescent black light is perfect for me! :) Not exactly a "feature" that the average consumer would be looking for, but a very welcome one! I will definitely be buying these bulbs again once they run out (not really sure when that will be as I only use them at night!). Thank you for making a very cheap and affordable smart light I will definitely be coming back to this company :)
