I ordered this product to finish two overlapping quilts. The cotton is the same that you buy in rolls at the pharmacy. It literally tears your hands. Even if I could be sure that it would hold up to regular use and gentle washing, I can't imagine the amount of dirt that would accumulate in my car. Use this product on rugs and other small items where cotton integrity is not a concern. I keep it with me and use it like a cotton swab from the pharmacy. Do not confuse the adjectives "Warm and Natural" with the brand name of "Warm and Natural" quilt batting. Those are two different things.
