Review on APDTY 688013 Fuel Gas Tank Filler Neck Tube Pipe for Ford Ranger & Mazda B-Series (1990-1997) - Includes Hose & Clamps (Not for Flareside) by Rolando Munoz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits well on 1994 Mazda B3000

I noticed gasoline dripping from the fuel tank and found the filler hose was badly cracked and leaking. I had to remove six Torx T55 screws to raise the body and access the filler hose where it connects to the fuel tank. I crawled under the truck and sprayed some T55 WD-40 on the bolts to pry the bolts out. My truck's body studs were pretty clean so they came out fairly easily, but you may need a crusher if the road salt has corroded the studs. After loosening the body bolts, I loosened the three bolts holding the filler neck to the body, lifted the body by hand (it's actually pretty light, IMO), and inserted a large block of wood between the bed and the frame . I was able to get a short screwdriver on the bottom hose clamp to loosen it. I twisted the hose to loosen it and it came off with a good tug. I smeared a large amount of petroleum jelly on the inside of the new hose and placed it on the fuel tank fitting. It takes a bit of fiddling to attach the new hose as it is quite tight. I tightened the clamp, lowered the body back, and connected the new filler neck to the truck body.
