With the arrival of our new baby, we decided to pack a train for the first time. We've been pet owners (or rather, pets) for over 35 years. Someone was always at home with our little boys to potty train them and slept in either our bed or with one of our kids at night. This is the youngest and smallest baby we have ever had (9 weeks and 2.2lbs) and did not feel secure putting him into the cradle. Our vet recommended cage training. We asked for the size and it fits. now and when he's grown. The box arrived well packaged and undamaged. It was easy to assemble. We didn't force our friend, we just put his blanket and some toys inside. Then I let him explore the outside of the box and he went in on his own. While inside I gave him some of his training treats. During the day it came in and out and sometimes I put a treat in it. We locked it a couple of times while we were in the room. No problem. That night we put him in a cage by our bed and he only cried occasionally. I spoke to him and put my hand next to him. He calmed down quickly and slept through the night. Now don't cry and he sleeps there. Use the cage during the day when I have to leave the house or I can't look after him. He feels great. I've used the cage to take him to the vet and it works great. Durable and while not as lightweight as portable, it does the job and we don't have to buy anything. Obviously this is not the case with a large pet or crate. Well made and great value for money. The same quality at the pet store costs a little more. Very happy with our purchase and Max approved!
