Resistive load CC CV is V input:R so 12V with 4 ohm CC min it's 3A

Set 24V max first if you want to set CC. Then open circuit, adjust CV. Always apply input and output breakers to your maximum currents when using them for a solar battery charger. Also, an example of a 50V resistive load with a 50 ohm CC load is always at least 1 amp (it dropped to 0.9). The maximum voltage reached was only 66.7V, an output current of 8A was achieved with 49.5V and gave me 50.3V, adding up to 400W, which is nominal. Be careful with terminal connections due to small flimsy plugs, hold them tight if using a tiny screwdriver, otherwise a regular small one will closely mimic them and the wires will eventually fall out.
