This is a big ball of colorful things that parrots like to chew on: rope and wood. I removed the metal parts as I am always skeptical of the metal grades used and any metal containing zinc and some other metals can poison birds. Stainless steel is the way to go, but not all parrot toys have real stainless steel parts. To be safe, I remove metal parts and anything that has exposed metal hooks to avoid snagging in the beak. Some birds love a big bundle of toys and enjoy a variety of things to play with, but mine tend to enjoy a few small toys. It's easy to take apart and turn into small toys or individual items, whichever your birds prefer. It's a good toy on its own OR as a dispenser for custom toys. My flock of birds is happy about it anyway.
