The device works great if you have an approved card and updated firmware. I made this as a New Years gift for my parents! They brought me the device as they couldn't get it to work. Good1) Device works as advertised provided you are willing to battle your way through poor support and documentation! Poor1) No tech support number with product. (they redirect you to Verizon tech support, which is useless and totally fraudulent, a lame attempt to blame Linksys) 2) Updated firmware drivers hidden in an obscure place on the website. 3) After locating the tech support number on the Linksys website and waiting 30 minutes. Eventually I found new firmware drivers and downloaded them myself. The other people post the same thing: 1) Make sure your card is on their approved list (only 3 cards work for Verizon) 2) Make sure your card has been activated and you USE it on the computer, you can't Take life card and just plug it in 3) Have another internet source available during setup so you can log into Linksys chat with technology/configuration questions. 4) Patience and a basic understanding of how these networks are set up.
