Review on Onefeng Sports Saddle Holder Carrier by Haggis Bryant

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits Honda CRV 2016.

Not my first attempt to find a kayak saddle that fits the Honda CRV crossbars, but the only one that fits. Saddles have a rubberized part that sits between the saddle and the top of the handlebars. It doesn't want to slide over the bar and keeps the kayak right where you want it. Even if the clamps are loose it stays on but moves when you press on it, a nice feature. It fits into the top clamp instead of just resting on the bar so it's held securely by the top clamp. The bottom of the clip is covered so it doesn't want to slide around either. The tension knobs are big enough to be easy to use, but not so big that they get in the way of the straps. The straps themselves have a piece of material on the buckle that protects the car's surface from being scratched by the buckle. The saddles themselves, on which they carry the kayak, are also made of rubber and adapt to the shape of the kayak. My kayak is wider in the middle than the front and I could position each saddle for maximum distributed support. You don't have that option with J-Bars as my friends showed me, but they use J-Bars to put two kayaks on top of their car. i only have one I was planning to use a J stand for the kayak. A J-Bar requires you to lift the entire kayak over your head and stand on the J-Bar. Saddles allow you to keep the rear end on the ground and elevate the front wheel on the CRV. The advice I found online is to take a small rubberized mat and place it on the vehicle and then place the front of the kayak on it. This protects the vehicle, but more importantly, it makes it easier for you to place the kayak on the saddles. This allows a person to easily lift or lift the kayak onto or off the vehicle. The goods were packed like a mummy, very protected.
