This item and many similar generic items do not have a clear idea of what they are offering. This is a simple tool to use the "Pepper's Ghost" illusion, where an image (from your phone) is projected onto a sheet of glass (or Plexiglas in this case) which can then be viewed from the front as a "hologram". . what's behind the glass. It doesn't look like a real digital projector you would use, and plexiglass itself has no special properties. The illusion can only be seen "in front of" the plexiglass or on the same side as the phone. That said, it works very well and there is no better tracking tool for $9. Notice that the image is flipped from its original orientation. So if you want to transfer text or a specific image to another surface, you must first "mirror" it from your phone. I'm writing this review precisely because I was confused by what these various devices offered (for a while I thought they offered lenses that work the same as those in digital projectors), but now I understand that these are simple examples of Pepper's ghosts Illusion. (The same method is used in the Disney theme park's Haunted Mansion ride, where screens built into the floor project images onto panes of glass, making it appear as if the ghosts are actually rampaging through the ride. Obviously, this isn't *quite* so deep, but I still appreciate this tool.)
