I thought I'd be wiser and buy a PC card for my lappy and then an adapter for my desktop so I can use it my PCCard in the desktop PCI slot. I received the F5D6020 as stated in the information to use the above product. The PC card works great with my lappy and I can easily connect to my wireless network. However, the problem is that I installed the PC card reader shown above (e.g. F5D6000) on my desktop and connected the PCCARD to the adapter. During the installation everything works fine. Everything seems to work, but then I get an error message. The error is "Device will not start (Code 10)". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, even tried installing the PCI adapter on a different desktop. All results are the same. I get error code 10 and the device does not start. I'm at a loss and tried to contact tech support. No Answer! I've contacted MS support and even searched Belkin online support but still nothing to say about the product and what's going on. The only thing that came to mind is the fact that my F5D6020 card is a version 2 model, whatever that means. I googled with all my heart and nothing seems to matter. I'm stuck and no help is coming and no support at all from the website. Why would Belkin make an identical PC card and name it the same if it doesn't work in this reader? Why are places allowed to sell these two items without fear of incompatibility?
